Job Title: Radio Frequency Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Specialist to join our team. As a Radio Frequency Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the testing of vendor-provided developmental and production hardware and software. This role requires a deep understanding of RF principles, test methodologies, and the ability to work with advanced test equipment and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and modify existing test plans and procedures to determine if existing procedures are sufficient for a waveform test technician to execute.
  • Develop new test plans and procedures.
  • Attend working group meetings for new and existing standards.
  • Execute test equipment setup, perform functionality checks on equipment, set up and configure equipment for new and existing capabilities using waveform-specific test kits.
  • Provide engineering assistance to the test team technicians before, during, and after test execution.
  • Recommend equipment, facility, or capability for upgrade, replacement, or discontinuation associated with the annual lab modernization effort.
  • Develop test scripts, programs, and procedures to automate testing and increase lab efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of experience in RF testing and validation.
  • Active Secret security clearance on the hire date with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
