About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hepatologist to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health System.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition. The successful candidate will provide clinical services in hepatology clinics, participate in inpatient management of patients with liver conditions, and perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in hepatology clinics
  • Contribute to inpatient management of patients with liver conditions
  • Perform diagnostic endoscopic procedures
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in patient management
  • Pursue research and develop interdisciplinary collaborations
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Hepatology
  • Experience in hepatology research
  • Eligibility for Virginia Medical Licensure
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience: $250,000 - $350,000 per year. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
