Physician / Hospitalist Night Shift Position in North Carolina

Are you a dedicated and skilled Physician looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist to join our team as a Nocturnist in Hickory, North Carolina.
About the OpportunityThis is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $325,032 per year, with an hourly rate of $1781 for 12-hour night shifts. Our model features a dynamic schedule with 10 MDs and 8 NPPs working in collaboration to provide exceptional patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Care for patients on the hospital's medical-surgical unit, providing comprehensive medical attention and making decisions regarding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Intensivists to manage ICU patients when needed, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in cross-coverage calls and admissions, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid medical license and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Proven experience as a Hospitalist or equivalent, with expertise in managing acute medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
