Job Summary:

This position will oversee the delivery of mechanical services that meet and exceed client expectations. The successful candidate will provide expert advice, make key decisions, and develop complex mechanical designs and project developments. They will guide and direct a team of engineers to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion. This role is responsible for growing and developing the mechanical department and building successful client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positively motivate and review the work performed by a team of mechanical engineers.
  • Work with clients to identify goals and objectives.
  • Complete billing and budgeting for projects accurately.
  • Coordinate services between mechanical engineers, clients, and other contractors.
  • Provide descriptive solutions to mechanical design difficulties.
  • Manage a team of engineers and designers, conducting periodic reviews and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings and delegate workload effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • P.E. Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
  • 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and organization.
  • Established industry and market expert.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make strong decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to maintain excellent integrity and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours as project schedules and deadlines require.
