About the Role

The Quality Intern will support the North America Corporate Quality functional department at Dawn Foods, working in one of our core manufacturing facilities and contributing to the team's goals and objectives.

As an intern, you will gain a broad understanding of quality systems within manufacturing processes, including knowledge of specifications, test methodologies, and analytical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team.
  2. Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
  3. Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest.
  4. Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals.
  5. Take initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas.

Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include working in a manufacturing laboratory and production floor environment, with potential allergens present. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while in the plant.

Compensation

Undergraduate interns will be paid $25/hour, while graduate interns will be paid $27/hour.
