Critical Care Surgeon Opportunity in Southern Idaho

Company Overview: Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, a multispecialty group with over 500 providers, offers a unique opportunity for a fellowship-trained Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon to join their team at the region's only Level II Trauma Center.
Salary: $400,000 - $600,000 per year, depending on experience. The salary includes a base salary, productivity bonuses, and benefits package.
Job Description: As a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and intensivists to provide high-quality care to patients with complex injuries and illnesses. The schedule is a 7 on/7 off clinical requirement, including procedures, rounding, consults, and clinic time.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA general surgery residency program, and completion of an ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. You must also obtain Board Certification in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care through the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). Additionally, you must obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
