Treatment Supervisor

Abraxas Youth & Family Services is seeking a qualified Treatment Supervisor to join our team. As a Treatment Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, while also providing guidance and support to our staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and safety for clients and staff.
- Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
- Interview and select internal candidates for posted positions.
- Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job training and development.
- Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations.
- Determine and implement progressive discipline when necessary.
- Respond to Step 1 grievances.
- Schedule employee training to meet mandatory requirements.
- Provide ongoing supervision to unit employees and monitor case management activities.
- Schedule team meetings, plan agendas, and implement activities to promote teamwork and communication.
- Demonstrate appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and provide supervision to staff.
- Associate's degree or 60 credits from an accredited college/university and 3 years' experience working with children, or a bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience.
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion in decision-making.
- Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior.
- At least 21 years of age and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work with computers and necessary software.
