Transforming Healthcare with Ambulatory Pharmacy Expertise

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for dispensing prescriptions and monitoring medication therapy in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all state and federal regulations and Medical Center policies and procedures relating to drug dispensing, including appropriate handling of drug products, adherence to security procedures, and completion of necessary documentation.
• Perform assigned unit and pharmacy inspections to assure proper maintenance and storage of medications, supplies, including emergency drug supplies, controlled substances, and hazardous drugs.
• Oversee activities of ancillary personnel (Pharmacy Technicians, Liaisons, Navigators, Clerks and Couriers).
• Employ principles of safe medication practice as dictated by departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy, or equivalent, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
• A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience.
