We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team at Merit Health Woman's Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit and other areas of perioperative services.
Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care in the post-anesthesia care unit and other areas of perioperative services.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current Mississippi RN licensure.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications (or within 90 days of hire).
- One year of PACU or critical care experience.
