Job Summary

L.S. Lee, Inc. is a family-owned contractor specializing in highway guardrail installation and maintenance. We are seeking a skilled Mechanic Helper to join our team at our Hampstead, MD location.

The Mechanic Helper is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake service on light and medium-duty vehicles. The successful candidate will also assist the Mechanic with diagnosis and repair of other vehicle components.

Key qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical school degree/certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year related experience (including relevant trade/technical school)
  • Valid driver's license with a Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) preferred
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and physical as a condition of employment

Starting pay will be $22.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with license classification and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending account options.
