About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Assistant to provide top-notch administrative and operational support to our Provost and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Grants & Contracts. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing schedules, travel, budgets, and ensuring confidentiality for all tasks performed.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and administer day-to-day office activities, developing policies, procedures, and systems for efficient operation.
  • Maintain calendars for senior administrators, provide support with correspondence, documentation, and travel arrangements.
  • Organize meetings and events, scheduling dates, times, venues, attendance, agendas, and facilities.
  • Monitor and reconcile fiscal administration, including budgets, employment, travel, and purchasing.
  • Research information, compile data, and gather information for reports, summaries, and inquiries.
  • Develop and manage projects to achieve mission goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Three years of general administrative assistance/office assistant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other productivity software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent routine decisions and maintain effective working relationships.
