Strategic Compliance Leader for Value-Based Care

Millennium Physician Group, the largest independent physician group in Florida and one of the largest in the US, is seeking a highly experienced Strategic Compliance Leader to join its leadership team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as they relate to corporate compliance and privacy matters.
This leader will provide effective guidance, advice, and counsel to the MPG Board of Directors, general counsel, and senior leadership team on matters of corporate compliance and ethical business practices. They will develop and implement policies, programs, and practices to maintain MPG's culture of compliance.
In this role, the Strategic Compliance Leader will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing an annual compliance plan that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
- Creating and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards;
- Building and managing a team through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities and performance management processes;
- Directing risk assessments, monitoring, and audits to measure compliance and drive continuous improvement;
- Measuring and continually improving MPG's compliance program, policies, code of conduct, processes, and results;
- Sets and manages financial, operational, and quality objectives related to the compliance program;
- Producing, coordinating, and overseeing compliance education and training;
- Partnering with other leaders to identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks in operational areas;
- Collaborating with internal audit, legal, finance/accounting, revenue cycle, human resources, and business units to direct compliance activities;
- Performing special projects as assigned by the Board of Directors, CEO, or general counsel.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences, JD from an accredited law school (preferred), minimum 10 years of experience in corporate compliance, experience in a compliance leadership role within a healthcare or life sciences entity, CHC certification, exceptional independent judgment, excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills, outstanding leadership, relationship building, and management skills, strategic and innovative thinking, attention to detail, strong business acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization, flexible and resilient, strong work ethic, unquestioned integrity, credibility, and judgment, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for driving compliance excellence in a dynamic healthcare environment.
