Nursing Professional Development Specialist

As a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by designing and implementing evidence-based education programs that drive quality improvement and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive education programs that align with the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) Practitioner guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and deliver education that addresses the unique needs of patients and families
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Conduct research and analysis to inform education programs and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and manage budgets to support education initiatives
- Master's degree in nursing or related field
- Active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of Georgia
- Four years of clinical practice experience and NPD board certification within 9 months of hire
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
