Clinical Research Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for assessing patients, evaluating treatment plans, and reporting symptoms and changes in patients' conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in clinical research and patient care. You will be expected to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

This is a full-time position that requires 40 hours of work per week. The shift will be 8 hours long, and you will be employed as part of the Staff team.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess assigned patients and evaluate plans to include documentation of nursing care
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses, conditions, and physician orders
  • Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic tests to assess patients' condition
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals related to assigned patients
  • Prepare patients for, and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • Florida Registered Nurse License
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
