We are seeking a skilled and certified general radiologist to join our team for a locum tenens opportunity in Gurnee, IL. This position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential radiology services to a diverse patient population.

Position Overview
  • Job Type: Locum Tenens
  • Specialty: General Radiology (Telehealth)
  • Shift Hours: 12 PM - 8 PM, Monday to Friday

This remote locum tenens position provides an excellent opportunity to balance professional responsibilities with personal commitments while delivering high-quality radiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle routine and emergency department imaging needs, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
  • Conduct and interpret imaging studies accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.

Our ideal candidate is a board-certified general radiologist with strong diagnostic skills in interpreting a variety of imaging modalities. Experience with Meditech EMR, Intelerad PACS, and Fluency voice recognition software is also required.

Requirements
  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Radiology.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Licensure: Must hold an active, unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA.
  • Professional Record: Must have a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions or malpractice claims.
