Administrative Coordinator for Human Resources

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at Grow Public Schools. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
This position assists with various human resources activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including document preparation, reconciliation of medical bills, and HRIS database maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and file employment documents, such as verifications of employment and leaves of absence paperwork.
- Reconcile monthly medical, dental, vision, and ancillary product bills to ensure accurate payments.
- Support onboarding activities, including creating employee badges and facilitating new hire compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, reference checks, and background checks.
- Maintain updated records on certificated staff permits or credentials and assist with permit applications.
- E nsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommended best practices.
- Coordinate scheduling for the Human Resources team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience in an educational or non-profit setting.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour, depending on experience. Grow Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
