Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Off Premise Beer Sales Representative to join our team in the Houston, TX territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing brand presence, and developing strong relationships with distributor personnel.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Regular travel within a dedicated 200-mile radius to call on multiple distributor territories
  • Extended travel (up to 75% of time) to additional markets in support of distributor crew drives
  • Taking a data-driven approach to identify new opportunities for distribution, upsell, secure multiple SKU distribution, cooler visibility, and displays
  • Establishing and maintaining a regular weekly schedule of account appointments including sales calls, and distributor work-withs
  • Developing creative solutions to meet account-specific needs identified during sales calls
  • Working closely with local distributor manager and distributor personnel to collaborate on goals and objectives and ensure proper product inventory
  • Maintaining store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, processing restocks, and reorders as necessary according to the planogram standards
  • Executing point-of-sale (POS) programs to standard
  • Bringing awareness to and promoting our premium brands through special events, sampling, and education
  • Maintaining open communication with field and HQ
  • Managing budget and maintaining records for monthly reconciliation
  • Ensuring compliance of all alcoholic beverage regulations

Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • 1-3 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably of beers, wines, and spirits is required
  • Previous retail or off-premise work experience is a plus
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background check
  • Must be able to lift and move cases of product frequently
  • Must be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $44,000-$59,000, depending on prior employment history, job-related skills, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions. Additionally, this position offers incentive opportunities, full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, PTO time, and more.
