Job Description

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the PPT Deputy Assistant Secretary and Managing Directors, performing various program support functions for the PPT Executive Office. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing written communications using MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Publisher, MS Excel, and SharePoint
  • Managing elite projects and special taskers with accuracy, as needed by the Government
  • Providing formal management briefings, recommendations, and findings, and detailed project reporting
  • Coordinating large volumes of information coming into the PPT Executive Office, ensuring formats and deadlines are met
  • Maintaining the PPT Deputy Assistant Secretary and/or Managing Directors' calendars, appointments, and other activities
  • Tracking and monitoring the status of memoranda, correspondence, and taskers
  • Informing personnel of overdue items, upcoming deadlines, and format and Department procedures for processing documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with high-level executives
  • Superior organizational skills and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage projects at an HQ level
  • A Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least six years of experience as a Management Consultant, Project Manager, or Business Analyst in an office environment
  • Four years of experience supporting executive-level personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize simultaneous workflow duties
  • Advanced level experience in MS SharePoint
Working Environment and Conditions

This position operates in a professional office environment with a moderate noise level. You will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The workload may require sitting for extended periods. You must be able to read, do simple math calculations, and withstand moderate amounts of stress. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
