Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with physicians and nurses to develop and implement respiratory care plans for patients
- Conduct diagnostic procedures, including oximetry measurement, capnography, and pulmonary function testing
- Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare teams on respiratory care and disease management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care or within six months of hire
- Licensed as an RCP in the State of Iowa
- Experience in critical care or respiratory therapy preferred
