Job Summary
MUSC Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Healthcare Assistant - Personal Care Specialist to join their team. This is a PRN as-needed position, requiring at least 12 hours bi-weekly availability.

About the Role
The successful candidate will assist patients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and walking. They will also be responsible for changing bed linens, assisting with patient transportation, and serving food trays. Additionally, they may record vital signs under the direction of a nurse.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety
* Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients
* Communicate effectively with nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Completion of a CNA program within 6 months preferred
* Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina
* Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
