Position Summary:

The Lead Financial Reporting Manager will play a crucial role within the Financial Reporting division, reporting directly to the Director of Financial Reporting. This position encompasses a wide range of corporate accounting and financial reporting responsibilities, including overseeing month-end closing procedures, generating standalone non-public financial reports, and managing external SEC reporting. The ideal candidate will engage in regular communication with key stakeholders across various departments, ensuring precise accounting for intricate transactions, timely invoice processing, and the production of accurate financial statements and reports that uphold audit standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review independent financial statements for major subsidiaries in accordance with US GAAP and local regulations.
  • Assist in the formulation and evaluation of external financial statements to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines.
  • Conduct detailed reconciliations of financial statements and related documentation, as well as prepare other necessary internal and external presentations.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including Insurance & Risk Management and Treasury Management.
  • Record, assess, and finalize monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance reports.
  • Supervise the Financial Reporting Manager and Financial Reporting Analyst.
  • Coordinate team priorities in collaboration with other Financial Reporting team members.
  • Address ad-hoc requests for analyses and information as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA license required (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of five years of experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting, with management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft Financials, nVision, Workiva, Blackline, and/or Osprey is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated total compensation for this role ranges from $89,100 to $115,000, plus an annual bonus. Compensation will be adjusted based on individual experience.
