Job Title: Central Sterile Services Manager

Job Summary: The Central Sterile Services Manager is responsible for the 24-hour accountability of the UKHC enterprise flexible scope reprocessing services. This includes supervision of staff and oversight of scope handling from cleaning, storage, and distribution of all HLD locations. The manager is responsible and accountable for the provision of day-to-day leadership, management, and development of Central Sterile services, developing efficient and cost-effective delivery of surgical instrumentation, including scopes, and production of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise staff and oversee scope handling from cleaning, storage, and distribution of all HLD locations

* Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and development of Central Sterile services

* Develop efficient and cost-effective delivery of surgical instrumentation, including scopes

* Produce high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements:

* 5 years of experience

* Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) plus additional approved national sterile processing certification within 1 year

* Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a daily basis

* Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time

Working Conditions:

* Occasional job-related travel

* Exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments

Shift: Monday through Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm; with occasional holiday, weekends, and on-call per departmental needs
