Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Mooseheart, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to work in our radiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. They will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring that all imaging equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients for imaging procedures and ensure that they are comfortable and secure.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring that they are comfortable.
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history, exam results, and follow-up instructions.
  • Ensure that all imaging equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure that imaging procedures are performed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current certification in radiologic technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current licensure in radiologic technology from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
