Job Summary

The Shift Leader is responsible for assisting management in routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant. This includes driving excellence in customer service, maintaining company standards, and reviewing food handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive customer satisfaction and product quality by maintaining fast, accurate service and ensuring products meet company quality standards.
  • Conduct daily inventory, complete shift-to-shift food safety audits, and set up daily control sheets.
  • Review facility and equipment readiness, monitor inventory, food preparation, and order fulfillment to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to crew employees and provide "hands-on" training in the Learning Zone.
Accountabilities
  • Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality: Maintain fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with company quality standards.
  • Financial: Share with the Management team day-to-day responsibility for cash procedures such as bank deposits, making change, opening/closing safe, and verifying drawers.
  • Operations: Conduct daily inventory, complete shift-to-shift food safety audits, and set up daily control sheets. Review facility and equipment readiness, monitor inventory, food preparation, and order fulfillment to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Human Resources: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback for crew employees and provide "hands-on" training in the Learning Zone.
