Server Position Overview

The Server position at Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill is a key role in ensuring our guests' needs are met according to our high standards. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a memorable dining experience by anticipating and fulfilling guests' needs, while promoting a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome.
Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs, going beyond expectations to create a positive lasting impression.
Ensure food and service meet Wood Ranch standards.
Communicate with guests to build a strong relationship and ensure satisfaction.
Participate in team pre-bussing and running food, offering to help other team members as needed.
Serve alcohol responsibly, following safe alcohol service guidelines and local, state, and federal laws.
Prepare beverages, desserts, and soups to the highest quality standards.
Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner, building trust and loyalty.
Perform light duties, including stocking stations and side work assignments.
Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns or suggestions.
Process payments accurately, including making change for cash payments.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Minimum of one year of server experience in a full-service restaurant.
Must obtain a valid unexpired RBS Certification.

Basic understanding of sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Ability to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to company standards.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to stand and move around for extended periods.
Carry hot and cold plates to guests, maintaining a safe and efficient service flow.
Lift and carry trays with 6-7 drinks, ensuring a smooth and seamless service experience.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times, with proper lifting techniques and support.
Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours, with flexibility and adaptability.
Physically able to continuously bend, reach, and twist, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, plus gratuities.
