Job Title: Opioid Treatment Counselor

SouthLight Healthcare is seeking a qualified Opioid Treatment Counselor to join our team at the Wake County Detention Center. As a key member of our Opioid Treatment Program, you will provide critical support to individuals struggling with addiction, helping them achieve recovery and a healthier life.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide ongoing assessment, treatment, and care coordination for OTP clients
  • Coordinate care with other providers to ensure comprehensive support
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation to meet regulatory requirements
  • Participate in crisis management and on-call crisis rotation
  • Provide clinical care for SouthLight clients based in the Wake County Detention Center
Qualifications:
  • 1 year experience working with Mental Health/Substance Use population
  • Experience in an Opioid Treatment Program is a plus
  • LCAS, LCAS/A or full CADC required
