Water and Wastewater Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Water and Wastewater Engineering Manager to lead and manage our new branch office in the Seattle area. This role will involve recruiting and building a high-performing team of engineers, managing projects, and expanding our client base in concert with our leadership team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Establish and grow our new branch office, leading the management of engineering projects and teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies for recruiting new clients and expanding business opportunities in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Lead project management efforts for water and wastewater engineering projects, including sewer comprehensive plans, engineering reports, and design for water/wastewater treatment, collection, distribution, water modeling, and pump stations.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • A 4-year degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
  • A Washington State PE license.
  • 15+ years of experience in engineering design with a focus on water and/or wastewater systems.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering projects and developing client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee projects, including wastewater treatment systems, pump stations, water systems, and sewer collection systems, funding, permitting, and planning reports.
