MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist radiologists with procedure performance and provide excellent patient care
- Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and accuracy
- Perform accurate documentation of patient medical records
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology Associates degree program or equivalent
- Minimum one year of MRI experience preferred
- ARRT(MR) certification or eligibility required
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association certification preferred
The physical demands of this job include standing, sitting, and walking frequently, as well as using hands and fingers occasionally. The employee must exert 20 to 35 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 15 pounds of force frequently.
