Job Summary

The Executive Director for Sycamore Reserve will lead the daily operations of the senior living community, ensuring excellent care and services are provided to residents. This role involves maintaining high customer satisfaction, developing strategic plans, managing staff, and ensuring financial stability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures to ensure resident care, staff productivity, safety, and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain a training system for staff evaluation and motivation.
  • Oversee financial resources, including budgeting, expense control, revenue generation, and financial reporting.
  • Review programs and services to meet resident needs, delivered with compassion, quality, and efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with residents, families, and leadership, responding to concerns and inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Lead and mentor directors and department heads, fostering communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Implement systems for measuring and improving Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement standards, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Oversee marketing and sales functions, developing relationships with referral sources to increase the visibility and reputation of the community.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in a senior living community or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including inspiring, motivating, communicating, and leading diverse groups.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to senior living and healthcare services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing financial reports.
  • A passion for improving the overall quality of life and care for senior residents.
