Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California. This role requires a minimum of three years of experience in the area of clinical specialty.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a clinical field of nursing or a related field, and hold a Registered Nurse License (California) as well as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Certificate (California). The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establishes and monitors care standards and makes recommendations for changes in area of clinical practice.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the care provided.
  • Develops interdisciplinary plans of care for complex and high-risk patients.
  • Provides consultation to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in meeting care needs of individual or groups of patients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in a clinical field of nursing or a related field required.
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Certificate (California) required at hire.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.
