The Assembly Department at Automated Production LLC is seeking an experienced and skilled Shop Foreman to lead our team of assembly professionals.
About the RoleThis critical position is responsible for overseeing the assembly of hydraulic systems and other large projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the assembly team, promoting adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee the assembly process, ensuring all specifications are met for hydraulic systems and other complex projects.
- Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and provide training to team members as needed to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks.
- Monitor project progress and report performance metrics to management, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure projects adhere to set schedules and meet established deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly-related issues that arise during project execution.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an assembly or manufacturing environment, preferably leading teams in similar settings.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and their assembly processes, including design principles and operating parameters.
- Experience managing large-scale projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, with a strong understanding of design intent and functional requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate execution of assembly tasks and minimizing errors.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
