Clinical Nurse Specialist

US Oncology, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Job Summary:The Clinical Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients with cancer and hematological disorders. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care delivery
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
