Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Specialist - Community Living to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of skills, including empathy, communication, and problem-solving abilities. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to individuals in community living settings, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals in community living settings.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions and community engagement.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of individual progress and support provided.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and provide physical support when necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
