Housekeeper I

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper I to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our Environmental Service Department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, including bathrooms and common areas
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with special events and projects as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
