About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Louisville Detention Center in Louisville, Ky.

Job Description

This role involves providing direct basic care to assigned patients within the structure of our healthcare program. You will contribute to patient assessment, develop and modify patient care plans, and perform delegated tasks consistent with your prior education and scope of practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the assessment of patients' health status
  • Participates in developing and modifying patient care plans
  • Performs delegated tasks, activities, and functions within scope of practice
  • Provides safe and effective nursing care
  • Implements patient education based on established teaching plans
  • Utilizes a problem-solving approach for decision-making
  • Maintains offsite and onsite scheduling
  • Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
