We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at Northern Light Continuing Care Center in Lakewood, ME.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires providing high-quality patient care to individuals with dementia. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional care and be committed to ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers and accurately document patient information in electronic medical records
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers
  • Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperatures, blood pressures, and vital signs
  • Maintain a safe environment by identifying and addressing environmental hazards and violating patient safety policies
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maine
  • BLS certification to be obtained prior to independently caring for patients and kept current
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program or state-determined eligibility
  • 0 years' experience
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be expected to work alternate shift schedules, including day, evening, nights, and weekends. Prolonged periods of standing and walking are also required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
