About the Role

Bixal is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Knowledge Management and Organizational Learning (KMOL) initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving impactful change and fostering collaboration across projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise and guidance to a portfolio of large and small KMOL projects, ensuring high-quality outputs and deliverables.
  • Motivate and mentor team members to bring their best to their work, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and implement KMOL strategies that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Represent Bixal at industry events, supporting business development and relationship-building.
  • Lead proposal development, solutioning, and content creation, ensuring compelling and effective messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to inform KMOL strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree plus 8 years of progressive experience in KMOL, with a focus on USAID-funded projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact KMOL initiatives, with a strong understanding of CLA principles.
  • Experience managing diverse and dispersed teams, with a focus on collaboration and adaptive management.
  • Business development experience, including proposal writing and teaming.
  • Strong understanding of web design and development, with the ability to work across web, KM, comms, and MEL.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of USAID Washington and mission operations, as well as the CLA framework.
  • Contract and budget management experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
