Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team and provide exceptional care to patients in their home setting. This individual contributor role requires a highly skilled and compassionate therapist who is dedicated to helping patients achieve their optimal physical potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of patients to assess their physical needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and techniques, such as stretching, strengthening, and range of motion exercises, to promote improved mobility and function
  • Utilize specialized equipment and modalities, such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to aid in patients' recovery and pain management
  • Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and integrate treatment goals and plans
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid and current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Michigan
  • A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to work with patients of varying mobility levels
