Strategic Financial Reporting Leader for Alternative Investments

We are seeking a seasoned Director, Alts Shareholder Reporting, Financial Statements Production NH to join our team at Fidelity TalentSource LLC.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reports required for investors across a growing number of products with diverse structures, asset classes, and investment strategies. Key responsibilities include ensuring Fidelity s regulatory filings, including 34Act and 40Act public company and offshore reporting, are accurate, timely, and adhere to GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
This role requires strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements for private partnerships following investment company GAAP. You will work closely with the alternative accounting team and external auditors in overseeing the annual financials and audit cycle.
Your Expertise and Skills
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in mutual fund operations, custodian banks, or asset management.
- Proven track record of team building, people management skills (hiring, training, motivating, managing performance).
- Advanced technical knowledge of alternative investment classes (e.g., direct loans, real estate, digital currency, fund-of-funds) as well as relevant accounting and reporting standards (US GAAP).
- Working knowledge of risk frameworks and ability to design and oversee processes that ensure a strong control environment.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and make high-impact decisions quickly and accurately.
- Strong understanding of workflows and requirements of internal and external business partners and system applications.
- Innovation attitude and ability to identify and drive forward new ways to improve current processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation capability.
- Proficiency in various PC software applications (e.g., MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- CPA or MBA preferred.
