Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented VIB Receiver/Driver to join our team at the Fort Gregg-Adams BSC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments of merchandise, operating a box truck to provide timely and courteous delivery of goods to customers, and performing various clerical and physical tasks to support the operation of the Base Supply Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of merchandise
  • Operate a box truck to deliver goods to customers in a timely and courteous manner
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Operate a pallet jack and forklift to move merchandise within the warehouse
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to operate a box truck and pallet jack/forklift
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a military environment and/or federal government environment
  • General warehousing, delivery service, and/or retail experience
