Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, staffing, employee maintenance, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. If you have a strong background in HR and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Staffing: Conduct recruitment efforts, conduct new-employee orientations, and post job openings.
- Employee Maintenance: Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements, keep employee records up-to-date, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation programs, monitor performance evaluation programs, and participate in administrative staff meetings.
- Employee Relations: Partner with employees and management to communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. Respond to employee relations issues, such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints.
- Minimum 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR.
- Excellent computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
