Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of medical malpractice actions
Draft and review pleadings and discovery, memos, briefs, and other legal correspondence and litigation documents
Analyze medical records
Represent clients in court
Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, and all other aspects of medical malpractice litigation
Interact with medical experts
Conduct legal and medical research and analysis
Draft motions
Work cooperatively with others
Interact with clients
Requirements
Admission to practice in New York
At least 3 years of experience in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation
Skills and Abilities
Strong legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with clients and command client confidence
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly

Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this role is $115,000 - $135,000, with a discretionary bonus based on performance.
