Position Overview
The Infantry serves as the essential component of the Army, tasked with securing and maintaining ground during combat missions. These dedicated Soldiers engage in offensive and defensive operations against enemy forces utilizing advanced weaponry and tactical strategies.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support reconnaissance missions to gather intelligence.
  • Deploy, fire, and recover anti-personnel and anti-tank mines.
  • Operate various weapon systems, including night vision engagements.
  • Maintain and operate communication devices under diverse conditions.
  • Function as a member of a fire team during both training and combat scenarios.
  • Process captured personnel and documentation.
  • Assist in the mobilization of troops, vehicles, and armaments.
  • Utilize, maintain, and securely store combat weapons such as rifles and machine guns.

Compensation and Training

Training for an Infantryman involves 14 weeks of Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training (AIT), combining classroom instruction with field exercises simulating combat conditions.
