Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Service Coordinator/Loan Processor to join our team at Five County Credit Union. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, processing loans, and performing various financial services related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Process loans, including reviewing applications, verifying information, and making lending decisions

• Perform various financial services related tasks, such as account maintenance, cross-selling, and referring members to relevant products and services

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies and regulations

• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve credit union growth objectives, making outbound member contact and evaluating new account and loan requests

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in a financial services or customer-facing role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups

• Basic math and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled office setting, with moderate noise levels due to multiple member transactions. The employee may not be able to easily leave the work area unless for a scheduled break. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must be able to speak and hear distinctly, with specific vision abilities required for close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
