Insurance Sales Representative

We are a dynamic insurance agency looking to expand our team with a highly motivated and skilled Insurance Sales Agent. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development in the insurance industry.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing risk management strategies for each customer, ensuring their policy needs are continuously met. They will also maintain a portfolio of existing customers, pursue insurance sales with new clients, and stay up-to-date with changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive risk management plans for each customer to guarantee policy requirements are consistently met
- Maintain a database of current clients and actively seek new business opportunities through targeted marketing efforts
- Regularly update reports, records, and organizational tools to track progress toward monthly insurance sales targets
- Conduct meetings with new and potential clients to understand their unique circumstances and provide tailored insurance solutions
- Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure seamless delivery of insurance services
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong willingness to learn about the insurance industry, including state and federal regulations
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; previous customer service experience is an asset
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite
- Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license
- A high school diploma is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
