Job Summary

We are seeking a Dining Ambassador to join our team of hospitality professionals. As a Dining Ambassador, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for creating an unforgettable experience for our guests from the moment they enter our doors. You will work closely with our management team to ensure seamless operations, provide exceptional service, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for:

  • Greeting and seating guests with a warm and genuine smile
  • Holding the door open for all guests entering and exiting the building
  • Managing wait times and communicating with guests in a clear and concise manner
  • Rolling silverware and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the dining area
  • Communicating with management and servers to ensure smooth operations
  • Cleaning the restaurant, including the front entrance, parking lot, and hostess areas
  • Providing a complimentary beverage to guests who may wait for their order
  • Being a team player and assisting other hosts/hostesses or To-Geaux personnel as needed
  • FOLLOWING CLEANLINESS AND SANITATION STANDARDS

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 10+ hours
  • Ability to work at a fast pace for at least 6 hours consecutively
  • Ability to adhere to uniform guidelines
  • Have a reliable form of transportation
  • Ability to memorize floor charts and table numbers

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $15-$18 per hour, based on industry standards and location. This is a part-time opportunity with flexible hours and schedules available, making it perfect for students or individuals with outside obligations.
