A Tax Manager - Northeast Region is needed to drive growth in the region. In this role, you will lead and guide clients, preparing and reviewing financial information for diverse industries. You will manage special projects, foster advanced tax research, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax returns preparation and review for partnerships, corporations, and individuals
  • Direct special projects including tax audits, transaction structuring, and tax planning strategies
  • Conduct advanced tax research, resolve complex tax issues
  • Provide feedback, training, and mentoring on tax work
  • Lead multiple tax engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients
  • Demonstrate advanced tax technical knowledge for advising clients
  • Participate in firm's marketing, recruiting, team-building, and similar efforts
  • Develop outside relationships with referral sources
  • Follow firm policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • 4+ years in relevant position
  • Public accounting or professional services environment preferred
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology experience
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (for Audit or Tax)
  • Pursue certification as soon as possible if not already attained
  • Meet annual CPE credit requirements
  • Obtain security clearance for governmental engagements

This role offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $95,000 to $125,000.
