Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at RTX. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide variety of mechanical, computer numerical controlled (CNC), electronic controlled, and hydraulic actuated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment using prints, sketches, models, and verbal instructions.
  • Perform maintenance on forklift trucks, lifting equipment, cranes, A/C pulleys, belts, motor direct or indirect drives, bearings, shafts, overhead doors drive mechanisms, turbine type blowers, compressors, vacuum pumps, air actuators, and valves.
  • Make jigs, fixtures, and special tools necessary for completion of maintenance work.
  • Move heavy machine parts as necessary to disassemble and assemble machine tools.
  • Perform required maintenance of oiling and lubrication of machines.
  • Perform general maintenance and housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain records and follow safety rules in performance of duties.

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum related maintenance mechanic experience.
  • 4 years of apprenticeship in maintenance trade or equivalent.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
