Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities in the U.S. Department of Defense and other U.S. based organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities in the defense industry
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the U.S. Department of Defense and other U.S. based organizations
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers and prospects to educate them on our radar systems and their applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field in the defense industry
- Proven track record of success in identifying and capturing new business opportunities
- Strong understanding of the U.S. Department of Defense and other U.S. based organizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% within the GSA travel requirements
- SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with U.S. agencies involved in National Security
- Understanding of U.S. Navy program offices and acquisition processes
- Experience with integrating radar on U.S. Navy owned platforms
- Existing SECRET, or greater, security clearance
