Salary Range

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert who can implement security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. Key responsibilities include:

  • Network Security: Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade company networks, servers, and services.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with network security and connectivity requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals, collect and analyze audit records in accordance with the security plan, and report discrepancies.
  • System Administration: Coordinate and document changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with Information Technology (IT) and/or Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) prior to the change.
Requirements

To be successful as a Cybersecurity Expert, you will need:

  • Certifications: DoD 8570 baseline certification (Security+ CE, CAP, GSLC, CASP CE, CISA, CISM, or CISSP).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working with information system security principles and practices, government compliance, regulations, and standards (NISPOM, DAAPM, RMF, JSIG, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DISA STIGS), and risk management framework (RMF) experience.
  • Skills: Technical proficiency in software applications (Microsoft Office), proficiency in network maintenance, strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems, strong organization and time management skills, strong communication skills, judgment and decision making, systems analysis, and systems evaluation.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a computer-related field strongly preferred. Three years of experience in a similar systems security role or experience in related IT or systems security disciplines is highly preferred.
